Wie könnte die Stadt der Zukunft aussehen und wie macht man ein Viertel attraktiver für die Menschen, die dort leben? Dieser Frage widmete sich in den letzten Monaten das RISE City Lab und die Aktion FreiRAUM-Viertel im Bahnhofsviertel. Auf der Schiller- und Landwehrstraße wurde mit Hilfe von Infoständen und Aufenthaltsgelegenheiten gezeigt, wie die Zukunft von Münchens Innenstadt aussehen könnte: Weniger Platz für Autos, mehr Platz für Münchner*innen selbst. Nun wird am 18. und 19. Oktober 2021im BMW Foundation Pavillon in der Finissage des RISE City Labs ein Resümee aus dem Pilotprojekt gezogen.
What could the city of the future look like? And how do you make a district more attractive for the people who live there?
The RISE City Lab and the FreiRAUM campaign in the station district have been addressing this question in recent months. Between Schillerstrasse and Landwehrstrasse, parklets explored what the future of downtown Munich could look like: Less space for cars, more space for residents.
On October 18 and 19, 2021, in the BMW Foundation Pavilion, the pilot project was summed up at the closing event of the RISE City Lab.
